Rick Inatome
Rick is the CEO of Infilaw, a consortium of independent, community based law schools that is establishing itself as a leader in making legal education more responsive to the realities of new careers dynamics. The InfiLaw System includes Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL, Phoenix School of Law in Phoenix, AZ and its newest school, Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, NC which opened in 2006. Its mission is to establish student-centered, ABA accredited law schools in underserved markets that graduate students with the skills of a second-year associate and achieve true diversity programs aimed at student academic and careers success. Under Rick’s guidance, Infilaw has become a world-class organization that consistently delivers the high quality outcomes for students, like bar pass rates and career placement.
Rick is a well-known computer industry pioneer who co-founded two multi-billion dollar companies, including Computer City and Inacomp Computer Centers. He was also responsible for taking American Speedy Printing, the 4th largest printing chain, out of bankruptcy to become one of the most profitable chains in the U.S. He has been active on a number of boards, including AAA Michigan, ACG, R.L. Polk & Co., Saturn Electronics and Michigan Virtual University, the State of Michigan’s 13th state chartered public university. He also served on the Advisory Boards of University of Michigan Dearborn and MSU Broad School of Business. Rick received a BA in Economics from Michigan State University.
